Esogetic Colorpuncture is a comprehensive system of acu-light therapy developed by Peter Mandel, a well-known German naturopath and holistic healer. It combines the principles of Chinese medicine with modern discoveries about the physics of light, and works to correct energetic imbalance and restore cellular communication in the body. Incorporation of Colorpuncture treatments into a therapist’s session will greatly enhance their ability to treat pain and dysfunction at the root level.
As this model is completely non-invasive it offers a viable treatment alternative for patients who are needle phobic and is a safe non-threatening treatment for children.
In this two day Introductory workshops students will learn the basic theories of how light and color affect the body. Including research by the Necker Institute in Paris demonstrating biophoton movement along meridian pathways. The workshop also includes training in methods for treating hormone imbalance, lymph drainage, headaches, learning problems in children, immune strengthening, spinal relaxation and pain relief . We will also touch on mind/body therapies which address the underlying imprints of trauma which keep the body locked in patterns of pain and dysfunction.
There are opportunities during the class to give and receive light treatments and listen to Esogetic sound therapies.
Akhila is certified to teach Esogetic Colorpuncture by the International Mandel Institute. She is the Director of the US Institute and has been teaching nationally in the US since 1993. She began training with Peter Mandel in 1989 and continues to study with him regularly to update her skills in this rapidly developing field.
Akhila holds a Diploma of Acupuncture and is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine with over thirty years experience in the field of Holistic Healing. She is also Certified in the Trauma resolution of Peter Levine and she incorporates this perspective in her work.
